November 17th is the confirmed date for the PS3 by Sony.

sony was planing on releasing the ps3 in mid november, although millions of ps3's have been made and they don't have enough of the blue lights off of the eject button to fit in the ps3's, sony cannot only release half so ps3's are now being delayed until march 07, (according to psw magazine).

november 17th, but go with the wii, much cheaper. And you know the frist release of ps3 will have bugs, unlike nintendo, which lasts forever

It comes out Nov. 17. Wait till after Christmas though. They'll have released a new firmware by then and the price will go down a bit as well.

In the papers, they say before Christmas. I don't think Sony would miss out on the competition with Microsoft and Nintendo this season.
