Are their any helpful websites that I could go to or magazines that I could buy where I can see some clothes I might like to wear/buy or get ideas for wearing different types of outfits? Where are some good stores to shop? I'm some what tomboyish in nature but want to update my wardrobe and become more girly. I would like ideas for outfits for work, school. nightlife/clubs and hanging out in general. I want looks that are affordable though and will not wipe out my bank account. Whats a good way to start??? I want to know what the current trends are but dont want to be one of those who always has to follow a trend.

just keep trying different looks until you find the "right" one. what you feel most comfortable in, what makes you look more feminine (you said you want to become more girly), also watch other people's reaction. nice fitting jeans, boots or cute ballet flats, cute accessories, and also your attitude is very important. it comes with practice, you'll develop your personal style, just keep going and trying

YOU SHOULD WATCH THE FASHION NETWORK, ALOT OF THEIR SHOWS ARE ABOUT SHOPPING FOR LESS AND LOOKING YOUR BEST. OR YOU CAN GET A VOGUE MAGAZINE AND GET IDEAS FROM THERE AND ADD YOUR OWN STYLE THEM. THE MAAGAZINE WILL HAVE ALOT OF DESIGNERS THAT ARE PRICEY SO GET AN IDEA AND THEN GO THE MALL AND YOU CAN FIND SOMETHING SIMILAR FOR LOWER PRICES.

Ask yourself that question. What do you like to wear. Really. Try it
