Try being married AND single at the same time. :-p
I jest. But my husband is in the military and has been to Iraq twice. So, it's sort of the curse of both at the same time. Then again, it has the benefits of both at the same time. :-)

But, honestly, I love being married to my husband. He's my best friend, so, it's nice to have someone like that to come home to. I was never a person who was real big into the dating scene...I tended to have long-term relationships, and would go for months without a date because I just didn't search it out. I think it's HARDER being married, but I think I'm generally happier. Of course there are moments when I wish I were single again, just as there are moments when I wish I didn't have a child to take care of, but those moments are much less common than the moments when I realize how happy I am with my current state of affairs.

Honestly, I believe that I am happier now that I am married but I really didn't notice how unhappy I was when I was single. I want different things at this part of my life that I didn't necessarilly want back then. Some people are made to be single while some people need a family in order to be happy, and I've found that I became one of the ones who needed a family.

Happier married as I had done all the things I wanted to do as a single when I met my hubby now we do things as a couple and they are much better. Also having someone at home to tell you things are going to be ok when you have had a bad day or just being there when you get home that's special

I am 1000 times happier being married. A had a few years of the fun, single life but being married has brought such a joy and focus to my life. There is now a reason for everything that I do and that makes me happy. I have a great wife and she makes me a better person. My wife is my best friend and we are probably one of those couples that makes every one else sick!

I was happier when I got married. I don't like to be alone, and like to share life with someone who I am in Love with.

I still bring her flowers, send her cards as I travel when I work. Sneak off for romantic getaways three or four times a year, more If I can find the time.

I married my childhood sweetheart from 32 years ago. This is my second marriage and yes, the first one was great too, but all things change in time.

I am way happier being married but I think that is because we have a great marriage. We had known each other for 12 years before we were married so we just communicate well.

I was happy single but am much happier married. But I waited to marry the right guy and didn't get married for the sake of getting married or because my biological clock was ticking.

Single was happier. I married the wrong guy and things didn't go very well. If you're contemplating marriage, make sure you make your decision based on the important things. Look at more than just his income potential, looks, sex, security, and convenience. All of those things are important in their own way, but look FAR beyond that.

100% happier married. My wife has made my life complete. Plus with the addition of my daughter, I don't think I could ever be happier.
