Are you more of a man if you're out there working everyday and providing for your family financially, or if you're at home rearing the children and making & keeping the home?

I presume that in the second half of the question the woman is the earner. That having been said, the important thing is that the male in the partnership is equally contributing to the greater good. A man is no less a man if, by agreement, he is the homemaker and child rearer. Each position, the homemaker/child rearer and the earner are equally as important to a successful family and neither position should be gender specific.

I work from home....So I guess I win both.
But I have to say that the social perception is that you need to be out in the workforce.
I enjoy earning a living and supporting my wife being a Mr Mom.
Although she still does most of the cleaning and almost all the cooking.
But I spend alot of time with our kids.
I think we are a very lucky family.

In the USA culture you are considered more of a man if you are out there working everyday. For men that don't care what others think however, it makes no difference.

Neither. The whole concept of male and female roles is sexist and outdated. The women looking for sugar daddies are doing far more than men are to keep sexism alive.

i work and so does my wife. we don't have any kids at home.we both share in the house work. it doesn't make you less of a man if you do house work or take care of children. it just means you are a responsible person. and probably one of the reasons your wife loves you.
