I am totally addicted to my soaps....I used to schedule my college classes around when my favorites were on....I have been watching some for 25 years. I have a family, a college education and a career, but I still find time to watch my soaps, I think it is just a break from reality. We al know they are totally ridiculous and this stuff doesn't happen to real people, but we are addicted. Really, how many times can a person die and come back??How many have children they didn't know about?? It's a fantasy, plus all the actors and actresses are so good looking!

Just one for me "Days of Our Lives"
My grand mother use to watch it. I remember when I was very little like 2 I would go over to my Aunt Lisa's house and it would be on. I didn't watch it for a very long time but I started when I was pregnant with my second child over 11 years ago.
And then off and on then after.
It is just like any other TV show/sit com. But it is an every day thing. Not just once a week. I hate it when I am watch ing a TV program and have to waite till next week to find out...
That sucks.

Obviously these people have no life of their own, and have to live through the fantasy of soaps.

when you have nothing else to do during the day, it is VERY easy to entertain a bored mind. either that or "YOU ARE NOT the father", right?
