I'm still wondering why all prices, end in 99, as opposed to a whole number.I get very tickled, or ticked off, depending on my mood, at these infomercials, that always say "and you can get it for under a hundred dollars"...then in fine print you learn the price is $99.99.

Now that you mention it, yes. I 've always wondered why it's always an odd number of ways or ideas. Why can't it be "100 ways to lose your gut'? is that way because all the others have failed and are hoping the last reason will do the trick? I guess we'll never know.

Todd Snider says it best...
64% of the world's statistics are made up right there on the spot
82.4% of people believe them whether they're accurate statistics or not
I don't know what you believe, but I do know there's no doubt
I need another double shot of something 90 proof, I got too much to think about

Someone said once that 59.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot, so maybe those things fit into that category....
