Yes, it means all of what these folks say, but also take a look at the latest resume' info and see if you want to make a change, make yours unique. Ask around about a T-sheet (I think that's what it's called.) It's the "latest" thing in building a "can't-beat-it" resume'. You may also want to look at using your webpage as a resume' if you have one.

it's the space where you indicate what your career objective is. It's really a fluff piece that can be used to fill out your resume if it needs it. A good objective is: "Looking to become part of a team in a position that will not only challenge me but expand my knowledge and skills."
Or something like that. If you have a full resume, you can leave it off.
