Get active, join some clubs and try and make more friends on your course or in your halls. Get in touch with your university's international students office, they should be able to refer you to someone to chat too, or provide you with useful resources. Maybe they have international student get-togethers - always useful to spend time with others going through the same thing. If they don't offer this, maybe you should suggest they start doing it and offer to help out with organising it.
They should also be able to offer you some academic advice or assistance. If your teacher is really bad maybe you need to speak to the department head as well.
If you can, it might also be helpful if you can talk to your parents or some friends from back home - it doesn't help for everyone, but it always made me feel a lot better to touch base and hear some familiar faces. Don't get into the habit of calling every night though, you need to make a life for yourself here too - once every couple of weeks worked great for me.
Hang in there, it will be worth it in the end!

Examine your university's societies and clubs information board and join an activity you enjoy. By sharing a common interest you're sure to find British people who will enjoy your company.
Also, I found the sooner you accept that you're overseas, that things are going to be different and actually joined in with the locals, the better studying in England became. As a last, and somewhat sad, resort join the International Students Association and meet people struggling to adapt too, but try to not to rely too much on your international buddies or you'll miss the point of studying abroad in the first place. All the best.

Welcome to England! You shouldn't feel alone, try to make some friends and get to know them. Ask your teachers for help, don't suffer in silence. Sorry to hear your feeling homesick but hopefully you will get used to it here. Good luck with everything!

Try developing a daily routine. Change it up a little when you get bored. The trick is to not think about home. It worked for me in Iraq.

With one exception you have so far been given some very sound advice from some very caring people. Take note of them and try to get over it.
I can add nothing to their answers.
Best of luck with it and your studies.

Try to distract yourself with your studies and doing fun things. Make new friends, go to theme parks, shopping, etc.
