I usually have 2 or 3 books that I'm reading, so if one is not grabbing me, I switch to another. I try to read every day, but sometimes get too caught up with the computer (Yahoo Answers and other sites). Even just a few minutes of reading at bedtime helps me sleep.

Usually I read pretty often, but recently not so much. I've had a lot of school work and have been kind of feeling burnt out. Almost all of what i read is either philosophy, psychology, or history. Right now I'm reading "the stars down to earth and other essays on the irrational in culture" by theodor adorno.

by the way, i liked your answer on that vegetarian question.

I always have a book I'm reading. I read lots of things...mostly fiction, but I also enjoy biographies and autobiographies, poetry, philosophy and many other types of books as well. Right now I'm reading Thomas Merton's, "A Contemplative Life".
Some of my favorite writers are John Irving, John Steinbeck, Sue Monk Hill, Nicholas Sparks, Pablo Neruda, Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski..and many others.

I read everyday, even if all I can fit in is a few pages. I will read just about anything, but I usually pick an author and read all their books (that are available at the library), and then move on to a different author.

I read every day, but lately haven't had a lot of free time so I'm only making it through one book a week. Kind of ironic, since I work in a bookstore, but it's not like I have time to read at work!
Literary fiction is my favorite, though I like non-fiction such as social science, earth science, and memoirs. Right now I'm reading Eggers' A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, his memoir of life after both his parents died.

I read every day, sometimes more than once.
At this stage of life I read mostly for pleasure and seem to read a lot of mysteries, psychological thrillers and historical fiction along with some horror and science fiction.
