The correlation between IQ and football team support is pronounced. Perhaps that is why all the French can do is throw insults and after great pains my official FIFA Stats were of no use in convincing them. They understand only violence and poor sportsmanship.

Well I'm not unintelligent and have high IQ and whilst I have no bad feeling toward team Italia I do not support them first and foremost. But if you are happy to see me as stupid that's ok. Sorry RO35 cannot agree with you there. Intelligence isn't confined to Italy or those that support it. Hmm, I seem to remember a display o violence coming from De Rossi also, didn't realise he was French.......
Just for your information, I'm very well aware that De Rossi is not French Mrs Materazzi. Simply pointing out violence in players is not confined to players of any particular nation. The inference being that only players from the French squad have the capacity to be so is the trickery.

Err no, after watching a few games in Italy I'm sorry to say that the country has a huge problem with racist thugs. Especially Lazio where the racists practically run the club. So they are far from intelligent that's for sure. Sorry to tar you all withthe same brush. You'll be slipping down the world rankings when Scotland put a couple past you in March as well!!

I wouldn't call the Euro qualifier game revenge as I'm sure France would have much rather have won the World Cup final.

well I'm intelligent and i do not support Italy. every country has fans with a high level of intelligence and every country has its fair share of imbeciles. Andygurl you are right in pointing out that more players other than Zidane have a propensity to act unsportsmanlike...i think your subtle sarcasm re: De Rossi was missed by some. i was intelligent enough to see that.

no.....i didnt see Marie Curie, Charles De Gaulle, Louis Pastuer, Gustave Eiffel, Costeau, Jules Verne, Bonaparte and Emile Zola who most historians including Italian historians believe were truly intelligent, support ITALY!!!

druged or not,people who pick italy are intelligent. when i first heard of world cup soccer,i picked italy before they won wc in 1982(aaww i, an intellegent fan ,watched intellgient rossi score "hat trick" goals against brazil..and i watched west germany getting outsmarted) so happy that my IQ skyrocket from my 100 IQ
