I am a nineteen year college freshman quite new in my faith. I am struggling to overcome a past filled with dissappointment, hurt, and pain. .. I had a very lonely and troubled childhood. I have trust issues, and am struggling to find faith and strength in the Lord. I know that God is always there, but I need prayer that I will continue to turn to God for strength and guidance on what to do. I want to build my faith and have a strong relationship with Christ. I want to discover my beliefs and try to figure out why I believe what I do. I am from an agnostic/atheist background, and I need help in my newfound faith! Please also pray that God will give me the strength to trust in him to provide for things such as tuition and every day needs. I am trying to pay my own tuition, but am struggling with health problems and depression which currently prevent me from working. PLEASE BE WILLING TO PRAY and feel free to leave any prayer needs that you may have.

The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want. It is stated in the Holy Bible that God will supply all of your needs and he does. It may not come in the way that you expect it but it will always come. It may not come when you want it but it will be right on time. God has a plan for your life and all of our lives. Seek God, do not ask for anything but just offer your love to him. God already knows what you need and he will indeed take care of that. Build a relation ship with God and read your bible. 23rd Psalms. Just begin to worship God and love him and he will look out for you. I had a very troubled childhood and have always experienced difficulties in my life. 1. Battered Child 2. Drunken Parents 3. Adopted by relatives 4. Mom drunk at my school in the 5th grade 5. I slept with alot of men to heal the wombs 6. Crack addict at age 21 - 25 7. Kids by 2 different guys and it goes on... but my life changed once I opened my heart to God and he gave me love and peace. He provided for my girls and myself and we wanted for nothing. I am presently married to a wonderful guy whom loves me and the girls. I started working in church and this drug addict became Leader in the Children's Ministry at my church. Things are not always great but I know whatever I go through that it was meant for a reason and God will always be there to help me through. Peace be with you...

I have prayed for you today. You can pray the 23rd Psalm for yourself like this: The Lord is (your name)'s Shepherd. (Your name) shall not want. He leadeth (your name) beside still waters, He annointeth (your name) head with oil, etc.

Pray the psalms and insert your name where it says me, mine, or I. You'll find that will personalize the Word for you and help you with your peace issues when you realize that the Lord is talking to you about you. God bless!
