I have an irregular cycle(30-60 days long) and my husband and I had sex almost every other dat starting a little under 2 weeks after the first day of my period(sep 20-at least I think it was a period) I just found out this sunday.....so is there any way to really predict when my due date is, or will I just have to wait till the first ultrasound?

With irregluar periods it's hard to determine a due date. Your doctor might be able to estimate one for you if s/he can feel how high your uterus is... but don't make major plans on that being the date until you get the ultrasound, just in case. Good luck and CONGRATS!

The doctor will just go by the date of your last period anyway. They don't trust that people will really know the date of conception, so they use the LMP date to predict your due date. Mine told me that it could be two weeks before of after the due date anyway, so I guess you really never know 100%. Congratulations!

they go by the first day of your last period not a possible conception date as theres no way possible to figure out the conception date, sperm can live up to 7 days inside you so you could have sex and a few days later get preggo from it
