I think it maybe something like woodworm. There are little piles of dust. I have used Dursban, but I don't know if this is the best thing. Has anyone got any suggestions?

I am afraid it is nothing as simple as woodworm, you my friend have an infestation of minature pandas
Known for their love of bamboo these tiny creatures roam conservatories feasting on the abundance of bamboo furniture that can be found in this habitat
Unlike their larger namesake the GIANT panda these creatures can survive virtually unoticed
Because the minature panda only eats bamboo the little piles of dust are actually its waste product or panda pooh

In order to rid yourself of the infestation try any version of the soft drink going by the name of panda Pops, pour liberally on the furniture and you will actually hear the pandas popping

Good Luck

Get a medical syringe (like the junkies use) and inject any holes with "Rentokil" from Homebase.
