im blonde i am considered dumb but im in college! people say im smart when it comes to work but when it comes to normal life and jokes im just totally "blonde"

Is this a daily question or something? Its quite obvious to me that none blonde people are the dumb ones for assuming that all blondes are dumb. I'm blonde and more intellectual than all the brunettes I know. Such a boring topic. Have you no other opinions or is there nothing else in this world you desire to know other than "Whats your opinion on blonde people?"

I'm blonde and I'm a 3.8 student (or was when I was in high school and college). I am also the person in charge of handling our finances in my family, as well as all the major decisions regarding improvements to our house, designing our remodeling projects, insurance issues etc. Most of my friends are Ph. D, Bachelors Degree, etc. My friends are all very intellectual and educated. And I manage to keep up in conversations with them. I know the basics when it comes to vehicle maintenance, can change a tire and I just finished helping my husband hang the gutters on our house. Often times I will read an article, or a letter from another adult, and I find grammatical errors that I want to correct. I've never been at a loss for words during a conversation, and I've succeeded in many Political debates among my peers.

BTW: I've met more brunette, red, or black haired people that are ditsy than blondes. Hair color has nothing to do with your level of intelligence.

I'm fed up with this stereotypical blonde=dumb rubbish. The only dumb blondes out there are the ones who are naturally brunette with bleached blonde hair. Its almost as if they dont want to give brunettes a bad name by being thick, so they pass the stigma onto us blondes instead. I'm naturally blonde but I am certainly not dumb.

The dumb blonde is a myth. I think it started as a bad joke or something. All these people (Jessica Simpson etc.) are just carefully managed marketing ploys designed to keep and maintain our interests (and your cash respectivly). Sure there are people who have blond hair AND are not the brightest bulbs in the room, but so as well as brunettes, redheads and others. Hair color does not represent intelligence in any way.

at least we know how to spell what! I'm a blonde and I would have to say I'm alot smarter than alot of people out there, just b/c the women who are blonde on tv act stupid it doesnt mean that they are dumb or any of the rest of us are dumb, it's just an act!

I'm blonde and not dumb I have a a masters in science and also teach biology so no not all blonde's are dumb

I just think each to their own really. I mean if a persons blonde, I'm not gonna judge their intelligence in a negative way. I just let everyone make their own impressions on me whether or not they're blonde.

That so unfair!!! I have blonde hair but I DO NOT see myself as dumb person..I am in university and have respectfull job..

I am blonde, but definitely not dumb, however, being blonde does give me an excuse if I do something wrong - I just apologise and say I'm sorry the hair dye must have run into my brain!
