I thought only women could be nymphos. I am not looking for an answer like "yes of course all men are nymphos duh!!!"

I am asking about the usage of the word nympho for men.

According to Free Dictionary, no:

The word you are looking for (for men) is satyr or satyriasis:

sa·tyr (str, str)
n.
1. often Satyr Greek Mythology A woodland creature depicted as having the pointed ears, legs, and short horns of a goat and a fondness for unrestrained revelry.
2. A licentious man; a lecher.

Hope this helps!

No, at least not in its literal definition. As described below, the male version used to be called satyriasis. They are now lumped together and called hypersexuality.

Hypersexuality is a desire for human sexual behavior at levels high enough to be considered clinically significant.

Hypersexuality is characterized by an impairing need for frequent genital stimulation that, when achieved, does not result in emotional or sexual satisfaction. This dissatisfaction is what is believed to encourage the heightened frequency of sexual stimulation, as well as additional physiological and neurological symptoms.

The concept of hypersexuality replaces the older concepts of nymphomania (or furor uterinus) and satyriasis. Nymphomania was believed to be a psychological disorder characterized by an overactive libido and an obsession with sex. In males the disorder was called satyriasis (for etymology of the words, see nymph and satyr). "Nymphomania" and "satyriasis" are no longer listed as specific disorders in the DSM-IV.

I call them Phuckahollicks. Covers both sexes. adult males imagine with the top between their legs and not in any respect with the single on their shoulders. Viagra, Cialis an all those different Extenz are literally not helping a mans psychological difficulty in any respect. i think sorry for a fragile guy using that stuff. Now it's going to watch him shave, later it's going to watch him tie his shoes.
