If possible - find and watch a few other teams, if you can. Watch them, take notes. See if you can spot similarities - those will be what you want to look for.
You'll want to run some practice drills - hitting targets while moving, moving while being shot at, that sort of thing. Start with some individual drills, then work up to 2-person, 3-person, etc.
In terms of team strategies, try to determine everybody's strengths, and adapt to that. If you've got a deadshot sniper, put that person in the back, covering the runner who gets to dive headlong for the lead bunker. Strategies are going to vary based on your team make-up and the field you're playing with. The main things you'll want to consider are providing cover, working to get good firing lanes, and communications. Turning individual players into a team is going to be of more use than having a specific strategy for a specific field.

hey bud, what the people above said are good for the most part, but yet quite repetitive. when you get to the field, walk it. try and find lanes and such that will help you out. a lane is, a bunker where you can see another bunker, where you think someone would want to go. you want to cover these, so people on there team cant move. have your team spread out, do not have them all on one side. snake is the main bunker. if you control snake, you control the game. always, always, ALWAYS, put a back man to cover the snake player. he has the most potential to get bunkered, and believe me, it will ruin the game if you lose him. make sure the paint that you buy is good, and isnt dented or soft or anything bad. make sure that your markers are shooting at the level they are allowed, if you shoot lower, you have a better chance to bounce paintballs on the other players, which isnt good. but have fun with it. stay tucked into your bunker, move, talk, and shoot. those last three are the most important, and are what new teams usually forget to do.

I don't know how many people are on your team but have some in back and some in front. The back players should protect the front players when they move.Never keep shooting from the same side continuously switch it up shoot from the left shoot from right and even over the top depending on the bunker.
If you haven't tried try laying down to different angle specially if you have been kneeling or standing the whole game. The thing to remember is always to communicate with the rest of your team.

Be on the move and keep low. It's harder to hit a moving small target. Another suggestion is to learn by expirience. There is a reason teams are better then others. Good luck on your adventure! : )

stay moving.. from a laying or sitting position if you need to move get up and run but say in your head i'm up he see's me i'm down ... and be down by then this is a short time but anymore than that is all it takes for the other guy to get a shot off. Its a prooven method.. you have any other questions. the army basic training course will teach you all you need to know for paintball.

shoot and keep from eing shot.
I have an Idea come in from all sides and ambush them that would work right well maybe but just keep low like they said and try sneaking in so they don't see you or wat ever.
