I masturbate many times daily and I think it's getting out of hand. Is this a medical condition. Sometimes I feel that I can't get enough or something. It's disrupting me at work and when I'm out. I don't know what to do.

Well, actually if you are masturbating, it isn't quite getting "out of hand"; more like you have taken matters into your own hands. And in your case it seems you might be doing this a little too often. Masturbation is fine until it affects your social, academic, family or work life. As long as you maintain balance, you do well by masturbating regularly. However once masturbation starts to invade or disrupt the other important elements of life, then it is time to find an outlet for your high energy levels that will tone down your urges to masturbate. Note though that I am not suggesting stopping, merely getting it under control and out of the way of leading a full and productive life.

Probably the most effective means is to increase your level of physical activity. After all, if your body is nicely tired out at the end of the day it is less likely to demand satisfaction in the masturbatory way. Whether you go to a gym daily or start doing landscaping or take up biking to and from work/school daily is up to you. The key is to be active in a physical way and do it daily.

Sure, you won't be entering any 50K races off the bat but running a slow mile at first and building up might get you ready for the Boston Marathon in a year or three. Or working to improve your yard and home can be physically demanding and also give you lots of satisfaction. It really doesn't matter what you do, just know that continued participation in high energy burning activities will not only lower your need for self-pleasure but also keep you really fit and healthy and attractive to boot.

First off don't worry too much about it. Masturbation is very very normal. Some people need more sexual release then others. I'm NO expert, but still do some research on webmd.com.

It could be a lot of reasons why you feel the need for sexual release "many times a day". Traumatic childhood experiences can lead to some sexual inadequacies, and needs that are transferred into searching for continual sexual release. Again, don't try and figure it out on your own. Listen to what people on here have to say.

It really shouldn't be a problem, if it feels good go with it. If it impedes your life and routines in life, then maybe talk to a Dr. Psychologists really are great at pin pointing things that we can't put our fingers on. They're not as scary as you think, and because you see one, doesn't mean your crazy. We are all human!

If it is getting in the way of your work or social life, it may well be a psychosexual disorder. I know it is embarrassing, but this is something you could discuss with your doctor, who should refer you to a counsellor. This is not something you should be on medication for.

There might be an underlying emotional problem causing your frequent needs to masturbate, and discussing it with a counsellor might help.

However, if others haven't commented, directly or indirectly about your behaviour, it could be absolutely nothing to worry about. It could be natural 'horniness'. Does it happen all the time or at certain times of the month? Do you have a partner? If so, this may be something you could discuss and it won't have to go as far as seeing a counsellor.

Only go to the doctors if you feel it really is getting out of hand.

Because you like it. There is nothing wrong with it, you go girl. Some drugs/medication can have an effect on your sex drive, or it might just be a way of letting off steam...My boyfriend does it to de-stress...several times a day! If you're really worried, go see a doctor. Otherwise, just chill, dont stress about it, I wish I had your sex drive!

Gee, I wish that I were there to help you. I could share the duties and I think that we'd both love it.

There's nothing wrong masturbating yourself several times a day. Just don't get caught doing it at your work. Keep your fingers busy on that pu.ssy under your desk so nobody sees you fingering yourself.

Why would you want to stop. There's no such thing as to much. Trust me. I do the same thing. It feels good. It's a nice release.
