It sounds like he was trying to hurt you.
A good thing to remember is, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If looks is the only thing you have going for you, you won't get far, you need heart.
So be glad he is your ex.

He said it to make you feel bad I mean you know that it's obvious.
He's an ex so why care what he thinks if he was all that and a wonderful person you'd still be together.
I'm guessing you broke off the relationship well that's hurt his macho pride and this is his way of getting it back.
Just rise above it and any time he says anything nasty just smile and say "yep that's right" or if you have the self confidence and can say it without looking upset say "that may be true but I'm still not desperate enough to waste any more time on you" then smile and walk away head held high it'll drive him nuts.
Don't let him see he's getting to you you know you deserve better and deep down so does he

There is reason why he is now your EX darling, his insulting and rude remarks being one of them. If you really looked like Ugly Betty, why did he ever go out with you in the first place? Obviously he's probably bitter that you're not his anymore. I say good riddance!

You have to look at it this way. He's your ex right ? That means he found you attractive enough to date, right ? So you have to conclude that him calling you ugly now comes out of being childish. If he really thought you were as ugly as ugly betty he wouldn't have dated you to begin with.

Most people say things like that to make there own self feel good.
You are a wonder person and I know you look better than a person who tries to put other people down just to make them-self look good. What they don't know when they do that they bring the ugly out of them. He was being very selfish and not thing about
anybody but himself. The next time you see him tell him that when you say things like that to hurt others feelings you make
yourself look a hundred times uglier than you are suppose to look
I am only 15 years old I know what boys do just to bring there self-esteem up. Looks like to me he is hating on you because you are a amazing looking person.

Yes hes being mean on purpose. He might want you back and my guess is you dont want him back so now he says mean things because hes hurt. Maybe hes just a jerk. Dont take it to heart just smile when hes acting that way( Be unaffected) and hold your head up!!!
