We have good and also bad in us.

the two. basic so far, overlooking the loaded words for a 2d, i will optimistically say it somewhat is a boon for the species, as a results of fact technological societies have survived outrageously nicely to that end far and function oftentimes stamped out much less techie ones. this is for sure a "wellbeing" earnings, a minimum of in the international of the previous. the destiny isn't particular - shall we use technologies to alter our environment (textile and digital) plenty that it develop into risky to our survival, like it develop right into a "curse." in case you advise, is it a boon or a curse for the common of individual lives, that relies upon on the way you pick the value of each and every of the guy lives - how many, how long - and how undesirable you fee the disadvantage of having extra human beings basic. as a results of fact the end results of useful exploitation of aspects by way of superior technologies boils all the way down to inhabitants boost. i think of there is not any thank you to objectively choose despite if this is basic stable or undesirable for the suffering of humanity. For me for my section, from my perspective, it form of feels like a plus. My existence experience seems richer and extra leisurely than it may be without technologies. despite if, there's a huge turn away -- this is no longer an excellent form of a boon that i does no longer be keen to aim existence in a nontechnological society, if there have been a "next time around."

When it comes to work it is a curse. Technology is great, and it allows us to get more done, but studies have shown that getting more done comes at the cost of our leisure time. Technology allows people to work away from the office, at home, on vacation, there are so many ways to work remotely that people work all the time and never let it go. Also technology is so immediate with e-mail, voice-mail, etc., that when people work now they don't work on one task to completion, but multiple tasks at a time, not devoting full attention to any one task.

For years there was a school of thought that said that technology would release us from work, make it easier, and more efficient, that we would leverage technology to work smarter. So far that has not happened. All technology has done is to make us work in a less efficient haphazard manner and tied us to our work lives no matter we are work is only a cell phone call or an e-mail away.

You can make a case that it's a curse, pointing to things like people who never leave their house because they are on the computer all the time.

But, I think that technology advances in the medical field alone makes our lives longer. Just that one reason is enough for me to be glad we live in the day and age we do.

To me it is a curse, but then again not for technology we nver would have had the wheel, or the stone age tools and weapons. I just don't don't like the way technology has advanced.

yes, it is both. but it is happening because people want it, can profit from it. everyone wants tvs, cell phones, computers.
we want what technology gives us. cars.
so it is on the boon side of things.

it's a double edged sword - good & bad. when it is used correctly it is one of the best things in the world, but when it is used to rip people off, harm people and prey on innocent people (especially children) it is an outrage.
