Personally i prefer Mariah... whilst Christina is incredibly talented and that voice.. wow... actually i think Christina is the new Mariah and when Mariah decides to pack it in Christina will be the best singer out there.. but when theres Mariah they'll be no one better than her she is amazing.. her songs are brilliant with the exception of some....

I love Mariah, specifically her earlier ballads, before she started trying to appeal to the younger hip-hop generation. I just wish she would clean up her image a little. She dresses so trashy sometimes. But her voice is spectacular.
I like Christina a whole lot more now that she's grown out of her Dirrty phase. She was scary there for awhile. And I agree, when Mariah hangs up her hat, Christina will be the best female vocalist out there.

Christina! Have you heard her album 'Stripped'?! That was the bomb, Mariah is alright tho, she's still good, I still like her. Christina can hit the high note just like Whitney Houston can but if you listen to Mariah carefully she kinda struggles sometimes. I got both their albums but you can tell Mariah is way more experienced and Christina hasn't reached her level in career wise. But now I think they're both much better singers than most out there today like Paris Hilton- I mean come on now does she really think she'll win Grammy's like Mariah?!

Both are incredibly talented but Mariah wins hands down. She's been around forever and she's not going anywhere. She has #1 hit after #1 hit. She is so much more widely known. Christina is just beginning. She started off as a teeny bopper and made a total turnaround, she's finally earning the respect that she deserves. She's on her way up there if she continues this path. Either way I rock out to both in my car with no shame!

Christina will never hold a candle to Mariah. Mariah has been singing for over 15 years with few and shorts gaps. She has numerous hits and some that should have been hits. Christina has few hits for the almost 10 years she has been out. Mariah's first 10 years in the business were her best even though she is still putting out the hits frequently!!

both women are very talented and can sing their behinds off, but Mariah attitude and personality sucks, she is one of those people who think they are bigger than everyone else. Do you know she makes people hold her straws when she drink, and when I see her on shows, she seems so untouchable. So I will go with Christina because after that song "beautiful" I had a whole different aspect from the pop singer, I actually considered her a singer with talent, and that song reached so many people.

i would defiantly say that Christina is better, i love her!
i think she has the most amazing voice and she seems like a really grounded person, whereas Mariah is just a diva,
just thought i'd throw in that i'm actually going to see Christina next month at wembley and i can't wait!

Mariah is not even close to what she used to be. Christina is my choice between the two, but personally I don't really care for either one of them or that pop style of music.
