We have to do a presentation about our own product and the ways we advertise it.
Another group have done a very simelar product with very simelar things it does.
We like our product but we dont want everyone saying we copyed them what can we do???

Use humor in your presentation. Tell anyone, "Great minds think alike"> Since there is no way to copyright ideas.

to advertise to promote to sell a product or an idea
how to advertise as in which type of media
ie tv,newspapers,radio etc
or the actual way to promote
if its the later then you have to create a desire for want
there are many mp3 players but ipod created the bigger want
if your competertor has a smililar product you need to create a bigger want
put the product into real terms make it something that will improve the buyers life

Perhaps there is a feature that is superior to the previous product. You might also concentrate on presentation that can make all the difference for its appeal. If the plagiarism idea is paramount, you might have to scrap it and start over. I hope not. Good luck.

This sounds like a homework assignment to me, but here goes... if you come up with your own idea, it won't be copying, so who cares if someone else has the same idea? Just make sure yours is better.
