Are all Ausralian checks printed with the notation <Not Negotiable>?

I have an Australian bank check noted and my local rural bank won't touch it.

I called up Australia and was told all checks are printed that way. I would like an Australian to confirm this.

That is not a check. It is a solicitation. Not negotiable means that it is not cashable.

I would shred it.

there's a reason your bank won't touch it. it's NOT NEGOTIABLE. which means it's WORTHLESS.
