This is the Limited model with the automatic climate control. Last year, one of the wire connections on the heater resistor burned up, and the fan quit working. I took the resistor out, took it apart, and re-soldered the connection. It worked fine for about 9 months, then the heater stopped blowing hot air. It still blows OK, but the air is cold. (During the 9 months, the radiator sprung a leak, engine overheated, and the head gaskets blew out. I had a different engine and a new radiator put in. The heater was still working for awhile after that.)

like the other two said. heater core. but check the hoses that go to your heater core first. see if they are clogged. you might also want to flush your full coolent system to see if you blow anything out of the heater core. do that first so if thats what it is, you don't spend the money for the heater core and find that you didn't need too..

If both heater hoses are hot it is safe to assume that coolant is flowing threw heater coil. It sounds more like for some reason the controls under the dash are not working. Being a 99 model they probably work by vacuum, check for bad vacuum hoses on or around engine. You may have one that has fell off or one may have collapsed.

Could be air locked. If its a 6 cylinder the water pump could be defective. I have found 2 that the water pump impeller had disintegrated.
