Meredith Viera on the Today Show--why does it seem like she is never there? Is she just part-time?

She took Katie Couric's place, but yet it seems like she is hardly ever there, and that woman named Natalie is there more often. Just curious.

Meredith's contract dictates that she is not to work the last half-hour segment of the show.

She is also doing Who Wants to be a Millionaire. I dont watch Today if Meredith isnt on. I really like her and thing she is a great addition to the Today show.
