Well, some lite pop singers cross over to country and some country singers cross over to pop. She started out in pop or lite rock, though.

I don't know if she's a "country singer", but she has done some stuff for country music. She had a song with kid rock and it was popular in the country world, and I think she sang with Brooks and Dunn on their song "building bridges"
