Your rights in this case greatly depend on the State in which you live. You can start by contacting your State's employment commission to find out the State laws that would govern your case. Do you have proof that your employer was fully informed about your "pre-existing condition" prior to your employment?

When you start having problems on the job the best advice that can be given to anyone is to tell you to immediately start keeping a diary. Write down dates and times when you were told things by company management, who told you, what was said by you and by the company representative, etc. If you have clear, truthful, records then you have major proof for whatever case you can muster in accordance with your State's employment laws. These records will stand up in a court of law and also in any arbitration hearings the State's employment commission might hold.

If you are employed in a "right to work" State: then you are probably not going to be able to press you case. "Right to Work" States have given it all over to the employer and an employee can be dismissed for any reason or no reason at all.

If you are concerned about your health then you should find out your rights within your State's employment laws and be certain of your position. If you are physically unable to do the job you have then you should probably find a job which better suits your abilities.
