No, no, no, don't get AN AMERICAN HAUNTING. It was horrible.

Stick to really good movies like MOONSTRUCK or MURPHY'S ROMANCE.

A terrific movie from the 40's is "Random Harvest." It stars Ronald Coleman and Greer Garson. It's a beautifully done movie with excellent acting & direction. Just take my word for it, it's great.

Another classic is the film-noir, "Gilda," starring Rita Hayworth and Glenn Ford. Rita Hayworth is stunningly beautiful and sexy in this part. A must see for any vintage movie fan.

Considering what is coming out today, I would recommend "Monster House" and "An American Haunting". Also, steer clear of "Skinwalkers" unless you want to see James Dooley's (Scotty from Star Trek) final role and "Nacho Libre" (they were attempting another "Napoleon Dynamite" and failed miserably).

As for older releases, there's "Lake House", "Rumor Has It", "Maybe Baby" and "Last Holiday" which are all wonderful movies. Hope this helps.

Good luck!
