When I was little I had this music box that played the song "Fur Elise" by Beethoven. With an angel in the middle that turned, made of glass.

When I was 5 my parents and I moved to Germany. Well it got destroyed by the moving people that moved our things into our new home obviously they didn't know the word fragile meant exactly that. The people weren't German they were US citizens from the army.

My parents tried to find one everywhere they went the problem was it was hand-made and bought in China. And when my dad went back to China the man who made it couldn't be found.

(16 years later.....)

My Girlfriend has a sister who was is stationed in China. She got a picture of the music box from my mom and when she went to visit her sister over the summer in China that year she found someone who knew how to make the Music box.

It was an exact replica and it played the very same song. She kept the music box a secret form July until our anniversary that wasn't until December. It was the perfect gift, I cried like a baby. I cant even tell the story without becoming emotional.
That's when I know she was the one for me.

"She went across the world to make me happy!!"

It was a long day at work, and I was exhausted. I knew once i got home i had to make dinner and do a few chores before i went to bed. I was dragging my feet about it. upon arriving home though there was a pizza delivery guy in my driveway with a an order of pizza for me. I had not ordered it so i tried to pus past him and tell him to be on his way. He told ne the pizza was already payed for. Ok so i took it in and prepared to sit to eating it when there was a knock at the door. Another delivery! this time flowers and chocolate. So I tended to that and attempted to sit at the dinner before me yet again... Only to have another knock at the door.
It was my BF. He came in and joined me in enjoying the pizza and set about encouraging me to relax and not worry about my chores. The sweetest thing was he gave me a night to relax and enjoy.

She made me a bed of roses....literally! It was so beautiful and so romantic and it was intertwined with a good bit of humor as well. Romance and humor is such a great combination! Word of advice, though! LOL!!! If you're going to make love to your sweetheart on a bed of roses remember to take the roses out of the fridge about an hour before the "big event" so they can warm up to room temperature! Roses sweat a little and needless to say that when all was said and done we both looked like we'd been slaughtered from where the roses stained the sheets and our skin!!! LOL!!!! It was so beautiful, though, and no one has EVER done anything like that for me before. EVER!!!

I was in the hospital after a car accident and he was a college student and had very little money. He brought me a coloring book and a new box of crayons and a toy truck that someone had given him when he was in the hospital, and he stopped on the side of the interstate and picked me a big bouquet of daisies from a field growing wild by the side of the road.
Very sweet.

Outside of the fact that I adore my Best Beloved there was a moment last year when her, her sister and I were in the kitchen. I had a wave of pain wash over me and I gasped. I got "that look" from my darling and I said" It's alright, don't worry." She came back with "That would be like asking me not to breathe!" Both her sister and I went awwww...
I adore her. The best thing she has done is love me.

Surprised me with a brand new Truck with a big silver bow tied across it and when I could finally contain myself and opened the door there was the cutest Cocker Spaniel puppy with a red bow around his neck. I was ecstatic!

When we were in high school my boyfreind decorated in the inside of my locker, with flowers, cards, candy, and a bunny from build-a-bear. It was out of the blue, so I gave him a very romantic dinner that night

I'm away at school right now and it has recently started snowing here, so my gf sent me a coat to keep me warm (sprayed with her perfume, of course) and since I'm relocating to Boston pretty soon, she sent me a shirt that says "I (four-leaf clover) Boston"... I'm Irish, obviously, and I thought it was so cute.
