Last night my hubby had muscle pains and felt constipation but when he went to the restroom nothing would come out plus he said it hurt for him to breathe. He slept to see if relaxing would help but today he says he doesnt feel any better. Anything I can do to help relax his muscles?

For heaven's sake! I don't think I'd be sitting around asking yahooers. No one could possible know for sure. He needs to be evaluated by a professional. Go to the clinic or ER

Sounds like a bad case of constipation..which can cramp your muscles ...but it's the breathing I'm worried about...I'd not exactly rush him to the hospital, but I WOULD tell him to take some laxatives, drink black coffee (also works as a laxative) and then call the doctor and explain symptoms to him if he isn't feeling better after that.

good lord, call the doctor or take him to a clinic or ER. He could have an illeus (paralyzed bowel), a fecal impaction, any number of things, and the fact that he is having respiratory difficulty with it only shows that it is becoming serious.

Hurts to breathe? Does he have a cold/flu or other respiratory problem? If it still hurts to breathe, he needs to go to the doctor today.

it could be a variety of things. I would suggest he seek a doctor as soon as possible. Especially if it hurts to breath. no point in suffering if you dont have to.

Take him to the doctor. If it hurts him to breathe maybe you should take him the er. I would not wait around.
