I loved that show. Grandpa was one of my faves. I just loved the skits they would do. Especially the ones where they are standing in the corn field and making little remarks out busting out with random things. So funny. I think i miss that kind of Tv.

I remember Hee-Haw. Roy Clark was my favorite and then comes Grandpa Jones. Hey grandpa what's for supper? Then Minni Pearl. Howwwdeeee! And last but not least, I agree with you that Duke was a good Ol' dog.

Yeah, but I've been trying to forget it. That and the Lawerence Welk Show that played at the same time on Saturday afternoons.

It sucked not having cable in the late 70s.

Things that make you go....Buuuhhhh.

Of course I remember it (look at my name). Favorite character was probably Minnie Pearl - with her price tag on the hat. She was definitely a character.

I think string bean and grandpa jones were my favorites. shame what happened to string bean and they never found out who killed him and his wife. Shame that grandpa jones found them. That must have been awfull for him since they were good friends and only lived 15 min from each other. Good luck and god bless.

I believe Roy and Buck use to sing: Gloom, despair, and agony on me............Deep dark depression......excessive misery, if it weren't for bad luck..I'd have no luck at all gloom, depair, and agony on me. Lulu was my favorite.
