So i'v been a member for about 5 months only buying though. and i decide to sell some stuff. So I list my tuff for 3 days. 2 days later i'v been susspended. they say that I have been linked to a suspended account and the only way to get back on is to log onto the susspended account and resolve it. BUT I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER HEARD OF THAT ACCOUNT it't NOT ME!!!! i told them this and they basically called me a lier. also they took money off me for listing. but they suspended me before i sold them. how is that right? i checked out the account that is suposedely me and that person was a member 2 years before i owned a computer or had ever heard of ebay. Is their some legal action i can take? has this happened to anyone else? should i contact watchdog or something?

i remember getting an email from somewhere claiming to be Ebay saying my account had been suspended and i had never even been on that site let alone become a member. i copy and pasted it to Ebay saying it was going around. sound like maybe something similar has happened to you. Dont reply to these but copy one and send it to Ebay and tell them to sort it out. hopefully thats whats happened and it wasnt actually Ebay taking your money. if it was then i guess keep trying Ebay and maybe contacting Watchdog isnt a bad idea, or even a solicitor if you have one.

if your identity has been hijacked or duplicated, you are in a tough spot.unfortunately computers have taken over the world, on any net transaction make sure you are proctected with a strong password- not something easy like a birthday etc.

if they took money from your credit card talk to your credit card company and explain
they should send you a dispute paper for you to fill it and explain in writing also sending all info and copy of whatever you have.
But call first good luck
