You are under treatment, so there is probably nothing to fear, per se; however, it would be helpful for you to know what you are dealing with. Don't be afraid to call your doc and ask what she diagnosed you with, how she came to that conclusion, and what you can expect from the medication (including how soon you will feel better and any side effects or contraindications you should be aware of). For example, if you have pelvic inflammatory disease (AKA endometritis - not to be confused with Endometriosis), this can be very painful and spread over time if inadequately treated. Same with a bladder or kidney infection. You can also ask her how she believes you might have contracted the infection so you can avoid reinfection in the future, if possible. If after 3-4 days on the meds you are not feeling better or are feeling worse, demand to see her again for a re-evaluation and if that is unsuccessful, find another doc or go to the ER if that becomes necessary. Good luck.

It does sound like a bladder infection. Take the medicines, you will be fine. Be sure to drink at least 2 liters of water every day with those medicines to get the most benefit from them.
