Yes at least at the stores I've been to especially Walmart. If you buy something that is usually carded for it flags your screen and a worker has to verify that you're of age. Now whether or not worker "actually" checks for id is another story. Most of the time they just push a button to allow the transaction to continue without even checking my id.

Yes. Whenever you scan an item that requires an age limit for purchase the moderator is notified and will come to you. After ID is presented and you are of age to buy the item it will be authorized by this person.

yes. After you scan the item it ask for ID and the people standing at the end to help if you need it have to punch in a code for it to be approved.

Yes, it instructs you to present your ID to the cashier and they have to enter your birthdate or type in a clearance code for the transaction to proceed.

i get carded. it wont let you complete your transaction without the employee scanning their badge.
