I use to tell lots of lies as a child. But once I became a grown woman I said Fu*k It! Because now I just pretty much don't care. I'll hit you with the truth so fast it will make your head spin! I feel that I don't have to lie. For what? It's not beneficial for me or that person. I also can handle the truth because I'm a real tuff gal and if I can dish it out I damn sure better know how to take it!
For the second part of your question. Why? I told lies as a child to keep my mother and father from whooping my a*s! And I had to stick with the same lie that I told because my parents were good putting me through an interrogation. If I was to so much a slip up and tell a different story my a*s was grass and they were the lawnmowers!

There are good lies and bad lies. People tell lies as their survival technique on this judgemental day and age. If you tell the truth at all time the more you get into trouble. It is normal for human nature.

I never lie when it is big, but little things, like who leaft the comb in the bathroom or something like that, I feel guilty about it because I know I am lying about something little and silly.
