Not only do I believe that THE SUPER SAINTS will regain their rightful place in the premiership this season, I also have a £20.00 bet at 40/1 that we will, backed up with a £10.00 bet at 18/1 that POMPEY get relegated. Sod the Carling Cup, who needs it, we need to concentrate fully on one thing......PROMOTION. We will go up, we got Bradly, Pele and Licka, they will get us up there. Under the headline today in the Daily Mail, it asks "who would have Beckham".....let me tell you.......SOUTHAMPTON will bloody well have him. Come on down David, you will love the South Coast. For all you Saints fans, click on my Icon of Danny Wallace......and view my 360 page, all about us Saints and our performance so far, at the bottom of page two is also a poll on Southampton vs Portsmouth....come view and add your comments.

In danger of? Of course Saints will be back where they belong next season.
Saints supporters are forever optimists, we need to be after recent seasons. We've got the Welsh wonder kid, Gareth Baile, who's a prolific scorer of late. Glad in a way we got knocked out of the Carling Cup last night, at least we can concentrate on promotion now.
Hate to say this but I want Pompey to stay-up, simply because the 'battle of the south coast derby' will be on again, and there's nothing sweeter than getting one over on the 'Pompey scum'

I tipped Southampton at the beginning of the season for promotion, as you have genius George Burley as manager. He was out of a job at the same time as Newcastle was without a manager and I couldn't believe the ineptitude of their Board of Directors when they failed appoint him.
Even if you don't make it this season, Southampton are destined for great things under G. Burley.

As Southampton have conviction & want to go places I hope they do go up unlike, my home team that languishes in a lower division & not in a month of sundays looks as if they have the willpower to try let alone get promoted.Good luck Southampton

They have a good manager who knows this league well. It should be enough to get them to the play offs but I do not think they are consistent enough to get automatic promotion. I think Birmingham will win the league with Preston as runners up. Although Cardiff and Burnley have made good starts I wonder if they have strength in depth when injuries and suspensions come along.

I hope they stay were they are. Living in Southampton now, it is an easy trip to watch Leeds.
Mind you, the way things are going, Leeds could be going down!!!!!

I reckon that they will reach the playoffs but we will have to wait and see. Just need a bit of stability at the club. Would make my year if we passed P******* on the way!! Up the Saints!!
