how do i keep the cats and dogs out of it till it dries? i usuall pour in the evenings so it is hard to keep them out in the dark. mostly sidewalks and small pads

You could try making a fence with that orange barrier material, that would keep out dogs and kids and maybe most cats. If you can control it, you could also try pouring as stiff as you can and don't work it too much.

Put plastic over it and spray it down with water. That will keep the cats off and is good for the concrete. A fence for the dogs,

there is some granuals call Repel at the nursery . . they are designed to keep pets out of flower beds I've use this product for this purpose and as long as you keep reapplying it worked . . it could help if you sprinkled it around the concrete you are pouring

Yes a small, temperary fence would be best.

oh and if you are pouring on dirt, make sure it is moist first, but im sure u already knew that.

Put a temporary fence around it. Snow fencing should work.
