I have been to the dr. but nothing has stoped it. What could it be?

It is probably stress. I did that when I was 19 or 20 and went to the dr, had every kind of test imaginable ran and it was stress in my case. That gets very aggravating doesn't it? After the stress was eliminated, I went back to normal. The stress was a bf!! Good luck though and whatever the case, I hope you find out what's causing it.

Oh sister. .. the same thing happened to me. I can't say WHY it happened to me, but it started a slue of problems. They labeled it dysfunctional uterine bleeding, and eventually I went on the pill to regulate my period. . .it did the job, but 2 and a half months later I got blood clots around my lungs from the estrogen. Went off of that and I had to have a uterine ablation. I'm not saying this is what is going to happen to you, but prolonged bleeding is not a good thing. You may want to take some iron pills, you may become anemic from losing so much blood. Too much iron will contipate you, though. Maybe a d&c will stop the problem.

dang that much?? ptobably the first person is right.. I dont have much cases of my girl friends that had that long, only every 2 weeks they have a period, well one of them, it sucks for her, and sucks for me. She is always emotional and she tries to hug me which she cracks my back.

oh my god, that is killer!!!!! i feel for you. maybe you should try going on the pill. i dont know much about it but it may help
