A neighbour down our street is going all out. He has his entire yard full of blow-up ghosts, witches, ghouls, etc. He does the same thing for Xmas.....really cute.

>Same as every year...I park my cars in the garage, turn off all the lights inside (and outside) the house and connect the doorbell switch to my stereo system. The stereo is turned way up and is loaded with a CD track of an insane Doberman.

I take the money I didn't spend on candy to Best Buy every November 1st and buy myself a new toy.

That's a happy Halloween!<

I always tell the little buggers a little story before I give them a treat.

I ask if they know the origin of halloween and then say "It was started by village witches who would go around giving children pies and cakes on the first full moon after the start of fall. this was so they could fatten up the kids for sacrifice on the winter solstice. And you can always tell who the witches are, because they give you the best candy."

I then give them a full size candy bar and lick my lips.

I would love to all that this year but I cant. I just can't afford it this time around.

I really don't like holidays but I usually join in this one because kids are involved and they come to my door. Itf its a personal holiday like christmas and is just me and in my house..forget it.. I don't understand holidays. I don't need a speical day to buy someone a gift or tell them I love them. I can do that any day..

Oops back to halloween...Nothing this year I am afraid..The high gas prices have set me back and I am trying to get thru the rest of the year as cheaply as possible so all bills can be paid off with tax returns and I will be settled finally.
