The most important issue to EVERYBODY ought to be preserving the liberty of America.

Who gives a flip about abortion or gay marriage right now? I don't see anyone out there fighting for these things untill someone else opens thier big mouths first saying everyone cant have them. There's so much more thats important right now. The only people I ever see mentioning gay marriage and abortion are conservatives when they start campaigning!!!!!

As a lberal getting people to see the flaw in accepting the current definition of life .I believe in the science that says when 46 chromazones combine and begin to develop on there own as the head to the womb for implantation life begins .Cells are dividing and reproducing at the moment of conception and utterin wall attachment comes after the cells beging to divide .
Its ike this the sperm and the egg get together and call out to the mother to say hey i am here help me out .The mothers body says i hear you and will provide an ammbilical cord to help you out .the new life says thanks and i will be out in 9 months .
So anything from beginning to end is part of raising a child .
Just as you would remove an abused child from a parent when they are 10 years old you must do the same for a child that is in greater need of the mothers support .
Laws must be able to prevent women from harming the life that is growing inside them .
Oh and i remember growing up and getting to know a few Japanese girls who at birth were allready celebrating the first birth day .
Those months in the womb are considered part of life for people who did not even beleive in jesus .
I myself do not believe in the bible as told or in any of the so called prophets or holy men .
Its all a lot of crap but i do know this .Life does begin at the joining of the mans sperm and the womans egg look into a micro scope and watch the cell division taking place and this is life unique from any other on earth an individual with its own set of dna that will become blue eyed or brown or have blonde or brown hair all this along with finger prints and facial structure that is different from others of our species .

I suppose I am a grit a liberal etc but I am a Cdn one .

Social liberal but a bit of a fiscal conservative. They call me a small L up here similar to the small C's but more bent twords the grits.

To me the biggest thing right now is that Bob Rae loses the leadership campaign . That Harper loses his government as soon as possible to a non confidence vote in the House and that our troops pull out of Afganistan right away .

I also want to see the return of Shiela Copps as Liberal leader but we all know that won't happen .

Just not that idiot Rae - You hear that Rae - don't make me vote for Jack Layton I'l do it I swear..... I will

It's hard to pick Rainbow Shirazz. But because of the life and death stakes, I'd say getting out of Iraq with the least number of lives lost for both sides. None of the goals of the Bush administration can be attained including a functioning democracy or probably, keeping Iraq united. Bush admits this now.

The indiscriminate death of American heroes in Iraq for no better purpose than pursuing a failed military folley to save political face, and to line the pockets of war profitters. There are alternative strategies that can win us the war with fewer casualties, but due to conservative political expediency the current leadership feels that votes are more important than funerals.

Let me get this straight...

We have a nation with over two hundred years of distinguished history. We've won freedom for us and many others from tyrants. One of America's proudest achievements is the fact that we've served as the melting pot of the world and given people from all over the greatest opportunity to achieve their dreams.

We've led the world with advancements that allow us to drive, fly, have electricity, plumbing, and a long life expectancy. Millions of patriots have spilled their blood so that we can continue.

We've given the world great art, philosophy, science, and technology.

We've saved Europe twice on the last century, rescued millions from starvation and oppression. We've been baling out economies of those who hate us.

We are at war with terrorists who want to kill us and millions of illegal immigrants and the ungrateful international community sucking us dry.

And the top two issues for democrats is gay marriage and abortion?

(What's next on your list, Katrina and Foley? Where do these people come from????)

Balance of power, we must take one of the houses or both to restore checks and balance to the government. The best legislation comes from compromise something that has been missing the last 6 years with repuglican control of all three branch's of government.
