You will very unlikely be able to travel in "3 days." Most specialists here in the U.S. advise waiting at least 4 days post-op to travel back to another state; if you are overseas, the time should be much longer. Flight time is of concern (i.e., due to blood clot risks), not to mention the pain you will be in post-op...you do not want to be trapped in the air feeling completely debilitated. I would suggest staying at least a week after the surgery before flying home, to be on the safe side. If you are scheduled to have more extensive work done aside from the cyst, such as a bowel resection for Endometriosis on the GI tract or anything like that, add 3 more days. Endometriomas are far more complex than "normal" cysts and require significantly higher skill and longer surgical times to treat effectively. Good luck and feel better.

PS - be sure to advise the airlines that you are a surgical patient; this will help after your surgery in the airport with wheelchair assistance, pre-boarding, extra attention from the flight attendants, etc.

Hi,
I just had an endometrioma removed via laproscopy and I think you will probably be in the hospital 3-4 days after your surgery, but you might want to wait up to 2 weeks before getting on a plane. You will be extremely sore right after and the seatbelt on the plane might irritate you. Also, it is hard to walk and you are not supposed to carry anything heavier than a dinner plate for awhile. Hope that helps!

The restoration era varies lots. maximum surgeons will say you would be back on your previous self interior a week, yet i in my view have by no potential talked to a girl for whom that held authentic. maximum discover it takes a solid couple of weeks formerly you're back to one hundred%. Now, what meaning for you is frustrating to assert. you would be able to correctly be wonderful to do some thing like a convention as long as you're taking it consumer-friendly - or you would be able to discover you're in fairly some soreness. a number of it relies upon on what they discover while they get in there and how lots artwork they do on you. It sounds it is your first lap, and till they actually see the endometriosis the analysis is speculative.it is they discover adhesions or different subjects while they actually visualize your pelvic hollow area. i'm including some links which could be efficient... ultimate of luck to you!

my mother was treated for the same. she was able to do normal works in a week time. one week rest is enough and you'll be completely ok. but you'll feel little pain sometimes .its ok.it'll mitigate when the wound inside has healed
