You could learn how the system actually works, how servers can be set to block certain IPs... then you could bypass them.

But, the blocks are there because MySpace can be an addictive waste of time for young folks who just want to "buddy up" when you should be doing that with your classmates...

Plus, letting 3,000 school kids onto MySpace bogs down the entire server environment!

OK, now that the lecture series is past, here is my advice.

I want more smart folks and less Windoze boobs. Too few of us actually know enough about networks, anyway. Though you might be logged, the trick is to log on using some teacher or Principal's login!

Just NEVER admit to anything! Hey, it works for all the Presidents, Congressmen! The only ones indicted are the ones who left a trail, and then admitted it out of some kinda false sense of 'honesty'. If they had any 'honesty' there would have been nothing to be charged with in the first place!

So, being sick and tired of idiots who are in charge trying to modify their paranoid world by imposing stricter rules that cannot be enforced, and that make no sense to anyone with half a brain, I recommend that you form computer clubs, and teach each other how the systems work, what security measures you need to have on your systems, and how they are defeated so that the entire world gets smarter about the huge vulnerabilities of servers and especially Microsoft virus magnets!

Get one of the Server sets of a LiveCDrom, that you pop into the CD and reboot to attain a server environment. It is almost instant. Then, you could probably attain total control of the server, especially if it runs Microsoft!!! http://livecdlist.com has 310 of them!!! FREE!!!

I like DamnSmallLinux AKA 'DSL'; as it fits on the mini CDs, but, a large CD is cool, too. And, once in the booted desktop, you can copy it to a USB stick and boot to root any computer in the world that is X86 based.

No wonder they lock the Server Rooms!

I like http://pclinuxos.com for the 1900 games, programs, office suites, browsers.

Both are in my backpack, everyday!

Wow! This is where my tax dollars are going? To kids goofing off online during school instead of doing schoolwork? No wonder why today's youth are so screwed up... Get your priorities in order and stop wasting my tax dollars!

I hope you get caught for bypassing the blockers. Just so you know, it falls under "hacking" according to the FBI's Cyber Crimes Joint Task Force. I'm sure your parents would absolutely LOVE to have a few FBI agents come knocking on your door with a warrant for your arrest. :) At least, I would find that amusingly entertaining to read about on Yahoo News Headlines.

what ur trying to do is really risky, suspension or even expulsion. School blockers are put there to save users like u from getting their computers malware, so don't. and btw, if somehow u manage to get past the filters, a master computer records all activity and deleting history doesn't work.

OH MY GAWD!!!!
Here we go again..all you newbie teenagers asking how to get past School blocks so you can play on your stupid myspace pages...sheesh.

I hope you get busted. I hope you try a proxy or vtunnel...cause guess what?... Your school's IT department monitors all PC activities. They know what you type, what you click on etc. Hell they even know what you just asked here at Yahoo answers. Explain that one to your parents when you get suspended or even expelled for vioilating school policies.

Do you personal playtime and myspace crap at home on your OWN PC

NOTICE: DOING THIS MAY GET YOUR ACCOUNT REVOKED IF YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR FINDS OUT. DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU GET SCREAMED AT..
___________

There are two websites you can go to.

1. www.bbscience.org. Then click on PHProxy. Type in the web address and click browse.

2. If that doesn't work, go to www.vtunnel.com. Then scroll all the way to the bottom and type in the URL you want to go to.

The way these work are that they use their own special browser within a browser than trick the proxy server into letting you get past filters. i have a filter on my home computer and tried to access myspace, it didn't work. When i went to these sites and typed in myspace, it worked.

Your school most likely is using a proxy server to only route Ip traffic to authorized destinations and a firewall to block unauthorized inbound IP traffic. There are two ways :
1. Is to access the Proxy Server as a administrator and allow the connection.
2. Is to tunnel beneath the TCP/IP protocol with a transport level packet encapsulator, whereby bypassing the routing table protocol at the server/router.

Good Luck

Websites which have been blocked in many schools can be accessed. Here are some tricks that might help :
1.Proxy server :Use a proxy server to access restricted sites.A proxy server (or proxies) is a normal computer that hides the identity of computers on its network from the Internet. Which means that only the address of the proxy server is visible to the world and not of those computers that are using it to browse the Internet. Just visit the proxy server website with your Web browser and enter a URL (website address) in the form provided.
List of Proxy servers
Just click on this link and it will take you to a page having a long list of proxies. You can either choose one yourself or let the service choose a random proxy for you.You can now visit any site with these proxy servers.
Also bookmark the DMOZ directory of free web-based proxy services and DMOZ directory of free proxy servers .

2.Use softwares for getting proxies:There are several softwares available for using proxies.Just search on google to get an endless list.
One of them is Hide ip platinum.Get it at http://rapidshare.de/files/35879852/HideIPPlatinum_3.2.rar.html

3.Convert ip to decimal:The third trick may work at some places and wont at others. This is a lesser known trick i came across recently.Suppose you want to access www.orkut.com.

Go to start->run type cmd.
Now type ping www.orkut.com (space between ping and www)
You will get an ip address for www.orkut.com,note it down.
Now go to http://www.allredroster.com/iptodec.htm
Enter the ip in the enter ip address field and press calculate. You will get an address in Decimal field. This is it.Copy this address and type it in your browser,if lucky www.orkut.com or any other blocked site for which you do this should open.

For example, for orkut you get the decimal address as http://1208930645

if these are too complicated for u jus try:
www.mathtunnel.com

Hmmmm, "Gods Gurl" wants to buck the system, eh? Do you think He won't find out? Are you okay with the fact that He will have you smote before lunch is over?? I think there is a specific Psalm that goes: "He shall not buck the system and play with MySpace during Sister Mary's lecture."

10 Hail Marys for you!

And lastly, why'd you go and make "Feeman" all mad?! Now we have to calm him down and stuff. (I dig you, Feeman, I really do!)

www.ghostclick.com/proxy.cgi

This is a proxy based web server, it may be unblocked on your school system. If it is then you can use this to access sites that would usually be blocked. However using it to go on innapropriate content is still traceable by the school.

many schools have different blockers, my school blocked absolutely everything except email and learning sites, you can use a proxy site such as www.ninjaproxy.com www.w3privacy.net or www.freeproxy.com try any of those they might work but if your school blocks proxies then you can look at it through google cache unless they blocked that liek at my school so as of not there is no sure fire way to log on but there is a lsim chance to at least look at it
