First of all do some research to find out if anyone will want to buy your magazine. If your magazine is going to be a freebee then you will have to sell advertising to pay for the cost of printing, quantity printed and distributing - and you will want an income too. Do a mock up of your magazine and work out how many pages it will be. Get a price from a printer. Decide who is going to write the articles - you need at least 50% articles to offset against the adverts - nobody likes an advertising rag!

I'm making a magazine with my BFF(Best Friend Forever) at the minute, and we haven't finished it yet, but a few of our friends in our streets have said that they will buy it from us.
We are going to start by printing a few coppies of every page we make, and we are going to sell our magazine for £1.00.
If not many people that are interested will buy it for that much, then we are going to settle for 50p until the stocks go up.
If people keep buying the magazine for £1.00, then we will start selling it for £1.50
We have come up with a brilliant name for our mag, but we can't tell you it, sorry.(editors secret!!)
Hope this advice really inspires you, and just remember, me and my friend are only 11 and we can do it, so you can to!
