God has each of us here for a reason. To be poor is not a sin but the is bottom rung of the ladder. There is no shame in this and it only fuels the desire to acheive the best that you can have.I hope you do get all that you want and go on to bigger and better.

First of all you should Never hate yourself for any reason. And being poor is not something that you may have a choice about. Also "poor" is a relative term. What do you consider being poor? That you can't afford designer jeans or you don't have clean newspaper to line the cardboard box you are living in? Try to focus on what you do have and be thankful that you are blessed with these things. Health and family and friends can not be bought with money and are more precious than material things. If you do need money, try to think of not only some ways to make extra money but ways to be more conservative with the money you do have. And all the money in the world will not be the answer to your hating yourself-that has to come from an inner peace.

What?

Why would you hate yourself for being poor? You Shouldn't!

Or is it because of embaressment? You shouldn't let people who make fun of you hate yourself, gosh no..you just need to be yourself, not let your 'poor' side get your down.

Hah, I'm poor! And look at me! I'm ****іng weird! but that shouldn't mean I must hate myself.
We're poor because my parents spend money quicker than they're earning it, lmao.

Well, if you are poor and still live with your parents, then move out whenever possible, rent a small flat with a mate, that way you can get a job and earn some money spending as little as possible on the flat.
That way you can worry less about hating yourself :|

If you still feel like you're in need of cheering up, just add me to your MSN, I'll be sure that you'll feel better if not cheered up.

Hope you feel better :)

One has to break the cycle of thinking negatively and acknowledge the self-creating situation of believing that all is hopeless. "Poor" is more a state of mind than accumulation of wealth. It you believe you're poor and can do nothing about it, then you will always be so. However, if one acknowledges they haven't much in cash flow/materials (poor) but know they can get out of it, have an established game plan, stick to it and work hard...you will succeed. The road may be long to get there, but one can start on the road anytime....even as a youth through good grades, etc.

Step One: Say to yourself...."I don't have much money, but I am a winner...and I will come out on top. Here's my plan..."

Optimism + Plan + Follow-Through + Hard Work = Positive Results

First of all, that is a terrible reason to hate yourself!

There is no crime in being poor, many, many great people were poor people.

I have no idea what you consider to be poor, and I do not know your age. If you consider yourself poor because you parents cannot afford to buy you every latest gadget that comes down the pike ---or $100.+ blue jeans to keep up with the "Jones," that is one thing,....if you do not have heat or food to eat, or a home to live in,...that is poverty, that is destitution.

If you have a home, a bed, food to eat, parents who love you, a school to attend and friends....sweety,...you are RICH!

Don't hate yourself. That's silly. I'm sure a lot of people are rich and unhappy and they hate themselves too. However, if it's really bothering you, maybe you could go back to college? If your too young for college and it's your parents that are poor, then just try to work hard in the future so that you won't be poor.

Take care!

1) Re-evaluate your financial situation. Are you poor because your job isn't paying you well enough? Or are you poor because of bad financial planning? Or could it be you are bearing too many financial responsibilities in the family?

It's important to grasp a clear understanding of why you are poor before you can work towards a solution. If your job isn't paying you well enough, make some personal sacrifices and get an extra training course or diploma. Then search for a job with better pay and prospects. The important thing to do, first and foremost, is to quit moping! You must always psyche yourself to believe that every problem has a workable solution.

2) Re-evaluate your level of satisfaction in life. What makes you happy? Are you one who seeks comfort materially or do you adopt a Zen-like mentality? Some people perpetually feel poor even though they are relatively wealthier than others because their demands for earthly comfort are insatiable. If one is willing to detach himself/herself from comsumerism, he/she won't feel affected by poverty.

3) Re-evaluate your level of self-esteem. Do you derive your self-esteem from the amount of wealth accumulated? Some people don't feel bad about achieving mediocre achievements in life simply because they don't use their peers' achievement as a yardstick for their personal achievements.

Don't hate yourself for being poor. Love yourself for the good qualities that I am sure you possess. Do whatever you can to better your situation and be proud of it.
