get a good support system, close friends, or family. pain rarely leaves us where it finds us, it does hurt alot to leave the person we loved and trusted our hearts to, but sometimes there is a reason that we can't understand right now.sure we cry we have lost someone we love, it is normal and only time and distance helps.we have no control over others, what's most important is how we handle the problem,if someone wants to end it, there is nothing we can do to change their minds.just let them go and know that you do have a future,there will be another one in your life. get into a good church.

Skipper, see if you can find a church that is running a divorce care class in your area. A very good program for those having gone through, going through and even children of a divorce.

Find a good clinical social worker. Seriously, it doesn't mean you can't handle it or are weak. I saw a study that showed people of above intelligence seek professional emotional help more than people of lower inteligence. Maybe it is more financial, but it will do wonders for your mental stability.

A counselor or church leader would be a good option. See if she'll come with you for a session.
