Well shes 13 and I think shes going through puberty shes NOT the sweet little girl she was last summer... I think I saw the change coming but Im just not sure when it fully came.. she use to be into girly stuff, like cheerleading and stuff like that, but over the last month shes been wearing dark make up Ive caught her smoking and then recently she left her email open and I wouldnt have read it but something caught my eye it was about her recently sleeping with a girl!
I took her to school this morning and I asked her was she into dating the same sex, she said no, she continually disrespects my mother who gives her, her all being the single parent she is, I take care of her also, but Im in college.. my mother was married twice my father is in my life and hers isnt.. I try not to abuse her but shes been so out of control the other night I found myself choking and slapping her around because she was being really rude to our mother I know this isnt right but she needs to be disciplined

Im thinking about moving back home and transferring to a local college just to keep an eye on her.. Ive never gotten so angry before, but I dont know what to do anymore, I dont understand why shes behaving so rudely... I just cant let my mother go through this anymore, she doesnt deserve this after all shes done for her.. so I need some advice people, Im serious, All answers truly appreciated

hmm I think I'd do the same thing you did, beat the stew out of her...
Smoking, 13, maybe you will be making a wise decision my moving back home, she needs someone to look after her and follow her every move Im sure your mother works and by her being single, your sister must be a key-latch kid.. and that is too much leeway for her.. go home jack her up and tell her where she stands with you be that authority she'll thank you in like 10 years... and the same sex thing OMG I think every girl these days around those ages, think themselves to be gay all I can say is God Bless the child, get in her life be her guiding light please dont let her ruin her life so early when theres still so much to live and see...

Good for you! Maybe Mom feels a little guilty for her father not being in her life, so she is more lenient than she should be! Sounds like you picked up the slack! You wouldn't be doing your sister any favors, by letting her continue her destructive behaviour, so keep it up!

You cannot control your little sister and neither can your Mom. She's growing up and feeling her way into life. Just let her know that you are there for her if she ever needs you. She will be OK. Good Luck.
