You might wanna try this:

1) Pulau Ubin - It's an island off the Singapore mainland. You may take a ride on the bum-boat from the Changi Village Ferry Terminal which will cost you $3 per trip to the island. Last ferry back from the island is 8pm.
What you can do is rent a bicycle for abt $5 onwards to explore the island. But the remember to get a map from the bicycle rental shop.
You will get to see the rustic side of Singapore and how we actually lived back in the 60s and 70s in villages and wild chicken and boars running around (if you're lucky enough to spot).
Afterwhich you may want to get some seafood from the local coffee shops at reasonable prices. But remember to check the prices before you order.
It will be good if you could spend a day there. But remember to bring a big bottle of water and insect repelent (if you have sensitive skin).
Be sure to check out Chek Jawa on the island, a national nature reserve.

2) Bukit Timah Nature Reserve - If I'm not wrong, it occupies abt 160+ha and it's the biggest rainforest reserve on the island and also the oldest. There are several trails extending into the forest and is an ideal site for a day of hiking.

3) Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve - Haven't been back there for some yrs,but I heard the upgrading works have make it more visitor-friendly ove rthe yrs. Find out more abt it at http://www.sbwr.org.sg/

4) Reverse Bungy - Clarke Quay. It's the tallest reverse bungy facility in South East Asia. Almost like Bungy Jump but done the other way round. Only probably setback is, it actually cost quite a bit to take the ride. YOu won't see many locals taking it, it's more for tourists.

Actually,to be truly honest, there isn't much adventurous stuffs to do here on the island. Most locals would travel out to some Thai/Malaysia islands for snorkeling/diving or Batam/Bintan for Go-karts and flying fox.

If you need a guide,I don't mind going around with you and friends for the weekend. Drop me a msg. :)

Have fun!

You might want to try out the new Vivo City shopping center as it's supposed to be the biggest shopping center in Singapore.

The other thing you might want to do is to experience crossing the causeway from Singapore into Malaysia (Johor Bahru) and compare the border town experience there. See the good and bad at the same time.

A elementary set of apparatus is round $two,000 and you then nonetheless ought to pay for air-fills and boat charters to get to dive web sites ($a hundred and fifty according to dive). Not low-cost and nor must or not it's on account that you might die with out correct coaching and apparatus.
