This is a thought-provoking question.
If indeed the number of dimensions (whatever it is) in our existence is perfect, why would He choose anything different?
I can think of few things in the Bible relevant to this question. The book of Job makes it clear that His wisdom and knowledge is far above ours. The emphasis of the whole Bible is that the character of God is of utmost importance, and that our character needs to be modeled after His. Details of science aren't that important to this message, and would be understood by few readers.
Any smaller number of dimensions would probably not be as noteworthy an accomplishment.
If Superstring theory is correct in that we exist in approximately 10 or 11 dimensions, then I don't understand these nearly enough to guess the implications of a different number. The reason theorists pick these numbers is that they can't come up with a workable mathematical system to represent reality using fewer.
Occam's Razor keeps them from using any more than is absolutely necessary. So if you ask them why this particular 10th dimension, they may tell you something like this: without it, we have a complete mathematical system that accurately models the universe and physical laws as we know them, except that radioactive decay doesn't happen, or we have twice as many quantum levels as we observe, or something like that.

There are more than 3 dimensions... I think the total is actually 8 or 9 according to some scientists.

He didn't, as you apparently already know. The standard answer would be that we are FOUR dimensional creatures, although technically, we exist in 10 or 11 dimensions. [Physicists are still hammering that one out]. We do, however, SEE in three 'perfect' dimensions, that we might look to Him as the perfect goal of our lives.

There are 4 definable physical dimensions in what we call Time/Space.
1. Length
2. Width
3. Depth
4. Time/Duration
While it is true that string theory predicts more dimensions, it is still a theory, and they can not be defined.

It isn't apparent to most unbelievers that three dimensions are perfect, so be prepared to get a lot of useless argument on that point, not to mention the usual scorn and scoffing. If you want, you could put some additional details in, showing how three dimensions are perfect, and then reasoning from that to the perfection of God.

Ask this question in the religious section, not here, oh naive one.
We are actually contained in 4 dimentions, not 3. And there are even more, mathematically we've gone up to 11 dimentions.

I'll bet money that 5 hundred years ago, while trying to convince others of their superior understanding of God, people would ask why God put earth at the center of the universe.
This question does not belong in the physics section and I should report you for abuse. Take your crusade elsewhere.
