I am going to the desert soon and I was looking at maybe taking my PS2. I was wondering. I have a basic Compaq Presario 2100. Its an older laptop and I bought it to keep in contact with my family while I was in Korea. It is possible to get a tuner card and hook my PS2 to the computer in order to just play the games on the laptop monitor.

Yes, a TV tuner card with standard video inputs should work

Yes. All you need to do is buy a USB video capture device. Some have built-in TV tuners too.
Below is a link where you can view some examples of USB video capture devices.
One or two of the devices might not display the video unless they are recording something, but all of the ones with a built-in TV tuner should work with you.
