Liking other music shouldn't be a problem. Though if it was either Death Metal or Violent/Sexually Explicit Rap I would wonder why as a Christian you would want to listen to it. For much of the other music you can probably have a good mix of the Christian and secular. Ask any of your friends who are condemning your music choices to spend more time praying and less time condemning.

The fact that you're even concerned about it - is an indicator that you are growing and maturing in what you believe in. I went through the same thing....I eat, drink, sleep, write, and live Music 24 7...and was not about to give it up...until I found out that I didn't have to...it was just a matter of switching to less offensive music and learning which type of music made me react in a way that wasn't Christian-like. Don't expect other people to be able to give you an answer that only you know...especially people who do not share your interest in being a Christian. Hope this helps.

Um, stupid question! Of course it is ok, and people have a problem with it because they are arrogant and intolerant, which are probably not the most Christian of virtues.

There's nothing wrong with that at all. It's all in what you enjoy and makes you happy. Stop worrying about what everyone else might think. Live your own life.
I don't have any problems with that at all.'

It depends on what secular music that you like listening to. If you listen to music that goes against your faith and what you believe in then that's not right, if not then it's ok. I listen to secular music on occasion.
