The best bands I've seen live are Pink Floyd (say them twice both excellent shows), U2 (saw them 3 times), and Foo Fighters (fantastic show - say them once)

Best for me was the Floyd at Live 8. Being a Floyd fan, seeing them up on stage together was amazing.
Also, The Frames are amazing live, saw them in Liverpool and it just blew me away. Also the Secret Machines put on a great gig.

I would have to say STYX on September 11, 2001 , as in the very day that the towers fell. It was at the Kansas State fair, they rocked they house!!! Especially when they told the crowd that they rented cars, buses, Anything they could to make the show 'cuz they wasn't going to let their fans down. That was just awsome. But Nickelback was right up there too. Same place but a year later.

U2 Zooropa Tour, Celtic Park, Glasgow back in 1993 without ANY shadow of a doubt
Far too memories to mention, but my All Access Pass, DID come in mighty handy..Oh and the seats in the brand new (at the time) directors boxes didn't come amiss either..
TY U2 for that magical, wonderful day, which I DO, and will ALWAYS cherish forever :))..
Take Care..Mark..
P.S. ALL the Gigs, I saw on Wet Wet Wet's "All Around and in the Crowd Tour", from '95 came a mighty close..
P.P.S. Can't wait for Marti Pellow's "Alone" Tour, starting THIS Friday night in Glasgow..
See you there :))

I've seen Rage Against The Machine, 3 Times, absolutely unforgettable all 3 times. Pearl Jam - countless times has left me literally speechless after 3 or 4 of their shows.

To many to mention so I'll go with Weather Report circa 1979. Jaco Pastorious is one awesome bassist. Never having had the chance to see Genesis before 1975 then Montreal's The Musical Box deserve an honourable mention for recreating the Gabriel era Genesis so perfectly. (I would never normally vote for a trib band in a question like this)
